This חי (chai, or "life" in Hebrew) is based on a font called Akitza and has been refined to be rounder and proportioned according to the Golden Ratio. The result is a symbol that is readily legible if you know what it says, but also looks like mutated form of the universal power symbol that we find on so many of our devices. I've placed it on a hexagonal pendant that hints at a Star of David, but also brings to mind organic cellular construction that one might find on an alien spaceship. The whole thing winds up becoming some kind of sci-fi horcrux, and a great way to celebrate life!
