This ring is a fun use of organic materials where you might expect the industrial. Pearls are fairly soft, so to see them functioning as riveted grommets is both unexpected and sublime. The rounded-square ring shank reduces the visual tension and allows the spheres of the pearls to blend in to the form while continuing to stand out visually.

Of course, the pearls sit inside the shanks a little, so they do make the ring a bit smaller than the metal frame would suggest. But if you have a size 4½ finger and like chunky rings, this is for you!
