This pendant combines two classic Jewish themes; the etz hayim or Tree of Life, and the seven-branched menorah from the Temple in Jerusalem.

The design is a modification of the logo of Congregation Etz Hayim in Arlington VA, originally designed by Cheryl Whitehead, a member of the synagogue's board.
